The news of the disappearance of Mr. Sodhi i.e. Gurucharan Singh of ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ has shocked everyone. Along with the actor’s family, friends are also in tension. Gurucharan Singh has been missing since April 22 and no trace of him has been found. The actor’s father had lodged a complaint at Palam police station in Delhi, after which the police is investigating. Now producer and actor JD Majithia has told an important thing regarding the disappearance of Gurucharan Singh. She told that her and Gurucharan Singh’s friend Bhakti Soni had gone to Mumbai airport to receive the actor on April 22, but the actor did not come. JD Majethia told ‘ETimes’, ‘Gurucharan and I have a common friend, Bhakti Soni. I was in a meeting when she called me and said there was a serious situation she wanted to tell me about. They told me that Gurucharan Singh is missing since 22nd April. He was to come to Mumbai on 22nd. He even left his house to catch a flight from Delhi airport, but did not come to Mumbai. Bhakti even went to the airport to pick him up, but he was nowhere to be found.

JD Majithia told that when he and Bhakti inquired about this from the airport authority, they came to know that Gurucharan Singh had not boarded the flight. But according to JD Majithia, before boarding the flight, Gurucharan Singh had messaged Bhakti Soni that he was about to start the boarding process.

JD Majithia further said, ‘Gurucharan’s parents were searching for him and a day later they lodged a missing complaint at the nearby police station. His parents are very old and not in good health. When Bhakti told me, the first thing I did was to send a message to spread awareness so that they take action and look for an actor. I also shared the information with the team of ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ and contacted Dilip Joshi and everyone else.
