Do not get tattooed on the ground; Government bans Chinese footballers

by time news

Beijing: Body tattoos are common among football players. Superstars Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi have all been tattooed. Many are tattooed with the names of loved ones and pictures that remind them.

But Chinese football players can only enjoy watching this. The Chinese government has imposed a ban on tattoos. The government has strongly advised players playing on the Chinese national team not to get tattoos. The order states that anyone who violates this will be banned for life. The order was issued by the General Administration of Sport of China (GAS).

The directive also says that if someone currently has a tattoo, it should be erased or covered with a full-sleeve jersey or bandage when playing. GAS states that the proposal is part of a plan to turn players into guides to society. The rule applies to national teams of all ages, from the senior level.
