O Borussia Dortmund defeated Chelsea 1-0 in the first leg of the round of 16 of the Champions League this Wednesday, and got an important lead for the second leg, at Stamford Bridge, on March 7.
In a tight duel at the Westfalenstadion, Dortmund won with a great goal from young striker Karim Adeyemi in the second half (63).
“There were many good things, the best of which was the result, but we know that playing against Chelsea is not easy and tonight we took a good step”, summarized the German coach Edin Terzic.
“I think we defended our goal well but sometimes we made it too easy for them to reach the last third,” he added.
