20 years ago, Zwickau native Holger Haustein, alias Driftwood Holly, moved to the far northwest of Canada, the Yukon. There the musician and bon vivant found his happiness.

Jack London couldn’t have invented this story better. The author of famous adventure novels such as “Call of the Wild” and “The Sea Wolf” followed the “call of gold” (also a novel title) in 1897 at the age of 21 and staked a claim in Dawson City, but he never claimed it due to illness could exploit.
