Ecuador vs Guatemala: the ‘tri’ team beat the ‘chapines’ 2-0 on Thursday, March 21, in a friendly match for the FIFA preparation date. The duel was played at the Red Bull Arena stadium in Harrison, New Jersey in the United States.
Attacker John Yeboah, of German-Ecuadorian nationality and Ghanaian descent, made his debut with the ‘tri’ and scored the first goal 8 minutes into the first half after an assist from Jeremy Sarmiento. Forward Gonzalo Plata sealed the victory at 86 ‘on his return to the northern team.
