The last weekend was full of achievements for the dancers of the dance studio “Elfas”, who participated in the international modern dance competition “Tukums cup”, winning places.
Eva Fritzberga, the head of the dance studio, says that the ambitious competition took place over three days. “It must be said that the level of dancers in Latvia is very high, and the competition is great. The performance has a very high quality. All the performances are so enjoyable, thoughtful, technically strong. The fact that we got such good places is also a high indicator for us, which is a pleasure. In the Tukuma competition, you have to set a high bar, and it is a challenge to participate there, because we understand that it simply won’t happen. It is one of the competitions where high-level performances are so concentrated. And everyone always has somewhere to aspire,” comments the manager of the dance studio.
“Rojas Elfinas” won the 1st grade diploma and 3rd place in the 3-6 year group,
“Rojas mini Elfinas” won the 1st grade diploma and 3rd place in the 7-9 year old group, while “Elfa Juniores” won the 1st grade diploma and 4th place in the 10-13 year old A group, which is the strongest division. On the other hand, in the combined composition of “Elfa”, Roja/Talsi won the 1st degree diploma and the awarded 2nd place in the mixed age group.
Also, the dancers of the modern dance studio “Elfa” “Talsu skukīši” got the 1st degree diploma, and the Talsu “Elfa juniors” got the 2nd degree diploma.
