Embassy comments on Kosovo’s decision to expel Russian diplomats

The decision of the unrecognized Kosovo to expel two Russian diplomats has no legal effect. This was reported to the TASS agency by the press service of the Russian Embassy in Serbia.

“We do not recognize the“ independence ”of Kosovo, and, accordingly, the regional“ government ”and other“ structures. ”For us, no“ decisions of Pristina have legal force, ”the diplomats said.

The embassy stressed that they do not accept the attempts of the Kosovo side to prevent Russian diplomats accredited with the UN Mission from carrying out their activities.

Earlier, Pristina announced the expulsion of two Russian diplomats due to the fact that their activities damaged the security of the region.
