Union Home Minister Amit Shah convened a meeting of Southern Chief Ministers in Tirupati. Stalin did not participate. Minister Ponmudi participated on behalf of Stalin.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah had organized the 29th Southern Regional Council (Southern Chief Ministers) meeting in Tirupati. Amitsha presided over the meeting of chief ministers held today. Initiating the meeting, Amit Shah said, “The culture, traditions and languages of the South Indian states enrich the culture and ancient heritage of India. India’s growth would not have been possible without the significant contribution of the South Indian states.
The Modi government respects all regional languages in India. That is why translation facilities have been made available in all the languages of the states at today’s Southern Regional Council meeting. I will be glad to see delegates speak their state language in the future. At present, 111 crore vaccinations have been achieved. This is a great achievement and an example of a co-operative federation. The Prime Minister’s vision is to promote federalism to achieve all-round development in the country.
They said the corona epidemic could not be dealt with by India. But under Modi’s leadership, India has rapidly increased its domestic production of health infrastructure and vaccines. Today, we have overcome the fear of an epidemic. ” Said Amitsha. Speaking at the closing ceremony, Amitsha said, “Govt should expedite the second vaccination and monitor the chiefs. Chiefs should make it a priority to create awareness among the younger community against drug and smoking habits. Bosco cannot tolerate criminal offenses to zero. Crimes against children are unacceptable. ” Said Amitsha.
The meeting of the Southern Regional Council was attended by Telangana and Pondicherry Governor Tamilisai, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy, Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai and Pondicherry Chief Minister Rangasamy. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin, Kerala Chief Minister Binarayi Vijayan and Telangana Chief Minister Chandrasekara Rao did not participate. Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu Stalin was unable to participate because he was involved in flood relief work. Senior Minister Ponmudi participated on his behalf. Ministers from Kerala and Telangana also participated.
