The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) of Russia received a petition from the operator of the Sheremetyevo airport to purchase 75% of the tour operator Biblio-Globus, the press service of the department reported.
“The FAS Russia received a petition from Sheremetyevo International Airport JSC to acquire a 75% stake in the established capital of Turoperator BG LLC,” the message says.
Earlier, Sheremetyevo International Airport announced plans to acquire a stake in Biblio-Globus. “The parties signed an agreement of intent. The completion of the transaction is scheduled for the end of September 2021, ”the airport operator said. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
It was noted that the deal will increase the tourist passenger traffic at the airport, as well as optimize the use of the infrastructure of the terminal complex and the airfield.
