Travelers whose train is canceled are invited to postpone their trip and can exchange their ticket for another journey free of charge, or can request a refund. “There are 300,000 seats available on the TGVs on Thursday and Monday”a assuré Alain Krakovitch.
Management had also promised a “exceptional compensation” for affected travelers. During the previous strike at Christmas 2022, the SNCF offered a 200% refund for canceled trains.
