The Jordanian, Egyptian, Emirati, Qatari and French air forces carried out a joint airdrop of aid over Gaza, as part of joint international efforts to alleviate the suffering of the people of the Strip.

A statement issued by the Jordanian Armed Forces said: “King Abdullah II participated in the airdrop operations,” noting that “it came as confirmation of Jordan’s continued standing by our Palestinian brothers, to deliver aid by all available means to the people of Gaza.”
According to the Jordan News Agency, 6 C130 aircraft took off from the capital, Amman, including 3 Royal Jordanian Air Force aircraft, and 3 other Emirati, Egyptian and French aircraft, as part of the humanitarian aid operation aimed at relieving the people of the Gaza Strip, as part of an international effort with the participation of brotherly and friendly countries.
The Egyptian Armed Forces also announced their participation in the airdrop operation, accompanied by the UAE, Qatar, France and Jordan.
These landings aimed to deliver aid directly to the population by dropping it on the coast of the Gaza Strip, in an operation that took place without parachute guidance devices, and the planes were forced to fly at low altitudes.
The dropped aid contains relief and food materials, including ready-made meals of high nutritional value, to alleviate the suffering of the people in Gaza as a result of the difficult conditions they are exposed to.
One of the planes was allocated to the second private Jordanian field hospital in the south of the Gaza Strip, which suffers from a severe shortage of basic materials, as it was supplied with relief and medical supplies, health supplies, and fuel.
