Haifa, Telamon, Jerusalem- The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has confirmed the names of four soldiers who were killed in battle in the northern Gaza Strip. Captain Beni Wais, Major (res.) Uriah Mash, Major (res.) Yehonatan Yosef Brand, and Maj. Gen. Gil Pishitz bravely fought for their country but tragically lost their lives.

Captain Beni Wais, aged 22, hailing from Haifa, served as a platoon commander in the 195th Battalion, 460th Brigade. He was killed while leading his troops in the intense battle.

Major (res.) Yehonatan Yosef Brand, aged 28 from Jerusalem, served alongside Major Mash as an armored fighter in the 52nd Battalion, 401st Brigade. His sacrifice will forever be remembered by his fellow soldiers and loved ones.

Maj. Gen. Gil Pishitz, 39 years old, was a tank driver in the 9th Battalion, 401st Brigade. Known for his exceptional leadership skills, his death is a significant loss to the IDF.
