Four IDF Soldiers Killed in Battle in Gaza Strip
Haifa, Telamon, Jerusalem- The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has confirmed the names of four soldiers who were killed in battle in the northern Gaza Strip. Captain Beni Wais, Major (res.) Uriah Mash, Major (res.) Yehonatan Yosef Brand, and Maj. Gen. Gil Pishitz bravely fought for their country but tragically lost their lives.
Captain Beni Wais, aged 22, hailing from Haifa, served as a platoon commander in the 195th Battalion, 460th Brigade. He was killed while leading his troops in the intense battle.
Major (res.) Uriah Mash, 41 years old and a resident of Telamon, fought as an armored fighter in the 52nd Battalion, 401st Brigade. His valor and dedication were evident until his last moments on the battlefield.
Major (res.) Yehonatan Yosef Brand, aged 28 from Jerusalem, served alongside Major Mash as an armored fighter in the 52nd Battalion, 401st Brigade. His sacrifice will forever be remembered by his fellow soldiers and loved ones.
Maj. Gen. Gil Pishitz, 39 years old, was a tank driver in the 9th Battalion, 401st Brigade. Known for his exceptional leadership skills, his death is a significant loss to the IDF.
The families of these fallen heroes have been notified of their untimely demise. The IDF stands united in grief and extends its deepest condolences to the families and friends who are going through immense pain and loss.
In addition to these casualties, it was reported that an IDF soldier from Battalion 52, Brigade 401, and an IDF reserve soldier from Battalion 7008, Brigade 551, were seriously injured during an operational activity in the Gaza Strip. Their identities have not been disclosed, but their conditions are being monitored closely by medical personnel.
