On the occasion of Independence Day, free medical camp was organized by Insaf Barakah Hospital. 25 specialist doctors provide free medical care to the patients in the medical camp throughout the day.
Besides, free kidney check-ups are provided to the patients. 345 common people and patients from different areas received health care in the medical camp.
Day-long free health care was inaugurated by the former organizing secretary of Dhaka Metropolitan North Awami League, 35th Ward Commissioner Md. Chieftain of Moktar.
Insaf Barakah Kidney and General Hospital chairman Professor Dr. was also present. Md. Matiar Rahman. Managing Director Professor Dr. M. Fakhrul Islam, Additional Managing Director. Altaf Hossain and Barakah Foundation Vice Chairman Principal Dr. M Rahul Amin.
On the occasion of the medical camp, the hospital has arranged 6 tests (CBC, Urine R/E, RBS, ECG and Whole Abdomen Ultrasonogram and Serum Creatinine) in a package of 15 days for 1000 rupees.
A 50 percent discount is given on other necessary tests (including CT scan). Dental check-ups are free and 50 percent discount will be given on dental check-ups.
Camp founder Mr. Mokhtar Sardar said that private initiatives should be taken in addition to government initiatives to bring people from all levels of society under health care. Chairman of the hospital Professor Dr. Md. Motiar Rahman said as part of social responsibility we organize such camps for common people on different days. This time also organized a camp on the occasion of Great Victory Day.
