In such cases, the customs operations following the end of the transit (temporary storage, declaration with the goods or passenger declaration, release through the customs procedure or as goods for personal use) will be carried out at the Northern Customs Department. At the same time, the committee informs that the cars transported by self-propelled vehicle across the Armenian-Iranian border, at the request of the importer, can be transferred to the Southern Customs Department located in the city of Sisian or to the customs office located in the city of Gyumri for further customs formalities.
In all other cases, in particular, in case of transportation in a container or car-carrying trailer, in 2019 From October 21, when filling out a TT IM type transit declaration for cars imported into RA from October 21, the customs authority and place of destination will be defined as the customs office corresponding to the information on the final destination of transportation in the transport documents, or in the absence of such information, the customs office preferred by the declarant.
Until 2019 On October 21, the customs operations related to the completion of transit, temporary storage, declaration in the goods or passenger declaration, customs procedure or release as goods for personal use will be carried out in the transit declaration as the destination customs authority: at the said customs authority and as destination at the said place.
