Rock Hospital conducts weight loss competition in collaboration with Ras Al Khaimah Ministry of Health with a message against obesity. The ten-week competition starts on March 17 and ends on March 4, Obesity Day.
The announcement was made in the presence of Khalid Abdullah Al Shehi, a representative director of the Ministry of Health and Defense in Ras Al Khaimah. The person who loses the most weight will be rewarded with five hundred dirhams (ten thousand) for each kilogram. In addition to this, there are many other gifts, officials said.
In addition to direct and online competitions, corporate companies can also participate as a group. Awareness classes will also be provided free of charge, said Rak Hospital Executive Director Dr. Raza Siddiqui said.
Weight and weight will be recorded at the hospital from 17 to 19 for direct participants. Participants online should obtain a certificate from the nearest hospital.
