Less than a month after landing in San Sebastián, the Garbera shopping center hosts a photographic exhibition on the Circus of the Sun starting this Thursday, which shows what the day-to-day life of the acrobats and all the workers of the Ovo show is like. The performances of the Cirque du Soleil will arrive in Illunbe on July 19 and will last until the 23rd of next month, a date that will also coincide with the end of this photographic exhibition.

One of the members of the Circo del Sol and protagonists of a dual number of this function, Alexis Trudel, has been in charge of presenting the sample and giving more details of the function that will arrive in Donostia next month. ‘Ovo’ “means egg in Portuguese,” Trudel pointed out, which explains the origin of the music used and the reason why the show is so colorful and lively.

The snapshots of the exhibition in Garbera show all the work behind the staging of the team. “The function lasts two hours, but the artists require an hour’s preparation in advance and the technicians work twelve hours for the performance to go well,” explains Trudel.

This exhibition intends to capture in images the work that exists so that the Canadian circus can offer high-level numbers. The acrobat adds that it is about “teamwork.”
