Gemini My Stuff: New Updates & Easier Access to Your AI Creations

by priyanka.patel tech editor

Google is streamlining how users access their creations within Gemini, its AI platform, with a redesigned “My Stuff” hub. The update reorganizes content into dedicated sections for documents and media, making it easier to find what you’ve made.

Previously, all user-generated content appeared in a single, undifferentiated grid. Now, according to 9to5Google, Gemini separates creations into “Documents” and “Media” sections. The “Documents” section houses Gemini Deep Research reports, Canvas projects, text files, and even coding projects.

By default, the Documents section displays only the two most recent items, with an arrow button in the top-right corner to access the full list. Each document entry features icons for easy identification of report types, text documents, and coding projects. The Media section, containing images and videos, retains the original grid layout.

Redesign Currently Limited to Web Access

The updated “My Stuff” hub is currently available only on Gemini’s web interface. It is not yet live within the Gemini app for Android or iOS. However, both mobile apps have received an update adding a shortcut to NotebookLM within the account menu, mirroring the web version’s location in the Settings & help section. Interestingly, this shortcut directs users to the NotebookLM website, even if the app is installed on their device.

Google has not announced a timeline for bringing the updated layout to mobile platforms, nor confirmed whether the Documents and Media split will be replicated exactly. As with many Gemini updates, the rollout is gradual, meaning it may take some time before all users have access to the new organization.

Can I easily find my Gemini-created documents now? Yes, Gemini has introduced dedicated “Documents” and “Media” sections within the “My Stuff” hub to help you quickly locate your creations.
