This news comes after the confirmation of the death of alias Iván Marquéz, one of Iván Mordisco’s declared enemies, and who would have died as a result of an attack by Mordisco’s men against him. Civil name Néstor Gregorio Vera Fernández, alias Iván Mordisco was born on October 8, 1974 and entered the ranks of the former Farc as a minor. In the end, he did not accept the results of the talks in Havana between the FARC delegation and the Colombian government.

The document signed by the representative of the government of Gustavo Petro and by the delegate of the guerrilla troops also establishes a protocol for the talks. The first thing will be to define the rules of the bilateral and national ceasefire. In addition, there is talk of the design of a monitoring, verification and oversight mechanism in the event of a breach of one of the parties to the truce. It is also alluded to that the table will be itinerant and civil society will have a presence in it in some way.

In the coming days both parties will announce their respective delegates in the peace talks. The document appears signed in Caquetá.
