The Bolsa Família program, recognized for its importance in supporting families in situations of social vulnerability, gains a new chapter in the state of Pernambuco. The state government announced an additional benefit of R$300, intended for a specific group of beneficiaries.
The initiative aims to serve mothers with children up to six years of age, according to a survey carried out by state management, which shows that around 62% of women in this age group are single mothers.
Am I entitled to the benefit?
To be entitled to the additional amount, beneficiaries must be registered with the Single Registry (CadÚnico) and the Bolsa Família program.
The registration process must be carried out at the Social Assistance Reference Center (CRAS). The expectation is that approximately 100 thousand women will receive the additional benefit.

Payment is scheduled to start in May and will be made in conjunction with the main Bolsa Família benefit. To check whether she is on the list of beneficiaries, the family responsible must access the specific website indicated by the government, informing the Social Identification Number (NIS) and date of birth.
It is important to highlight that the deadline to express interest in the program is April 25th. Additional details about the payment have not yet been released by the government, however, the expectation is that the benefit will be essential to help families in Pernambuco in times of economic difficulty.
