Wilfredo Oscorima, the regional governor of Ayacucho, once again denied that it was he who gave a Rolex watch to the President of the Republic, Dina Boluarte, however, he confirmed that he did acquire one of these valuable objects in the year 2023, just with the same characteristics as those of the accessory that the president exhibited.
According to the statements he gave in an interview he gave for Cuarto Poder, a Sunday news program on América Televisión, the fact that he and Boluarte have the same model that combines silver with rose gold and diamond inlays on the numbers six and nine is just a coincidence.

In relation to the coincidence between the date on which it was revealed that Boluarte Zegarra used this type of watches and the day of his visit to the Government Palace, he clarified that the reason for the meeting with the Executive was to request the disbursement of a sports project in its jurisdiction.
“We need a budget to execute the great Ciudad de Cumaná sports project there. (Are the meetings basically for that project?) Basically for that project. This project is valued at approximately 367 million soles and has been validated by the Peruvian Sports Institute,” he insisted.

Cuarto Poder also revealed that the president would have one more Rolex in her possession, apart from the three luxurious watches already accounted for.
