Jacqline and Cazzi Opeia received the most votes and are directly through to the final of Melodifestivalen.
Those who took third and fourth place, and thus get another chance to qualify, are Gunilla Persson and Klaudy.
More than 567,234 Swedes had voted, it was announced during the broadcast.
Stands firm despite illness
– I would still celebrate if I had finished last in the competition. This is a fantastic experience – to stand on this stage and know that so many people have voted for and like me, commented Persson to The evening paper.
Gunilla Persson (65) debuted on Saturday in Melodifestivalen with the song “I won’t shake (La la Gunilla)”.
She was referred to as the “odds rocket” of the week.
Before Persson went on stage, she lifted the veil a little on how things are with her love life, and said that she had been on a date a couple of weeks ago.
Persson has also stated to Swedens radio that she is now looking for a husband.
She describes the song itself as “tailor-made” for her. There she sings, among other things, about backbiting.
– I will not shake! Even if I have the crystal sickness, and the whole room is spinning, you will see me, she said confidently during the dolphin final.
On stage she stood firm – in good company with four male dancers, wearing cowboy outfits.
The Norwegians participate again
This was the third of a total of five semi-finals.
Clara Klingenström and Kim Cesarion received the fewest votes and were eliminated.
In each broadcast, the two most popular songs advance, while two entries get a second chance to qualify on March 2 – the same day as the final final.
Marcus and Martinus Gunnarsen perform there with the song “Unforgettable”. Last year they ended up in second place.
At the time of writing, they are superior odds favorites in their group. The bookmakers also believe that the twins will win the entire Melodifestivalen.
The final will be held on 9 March.
