Today, Friday, the Iraqi Salwa team arrived in Lebanon to participate in the Beirut Betarabia Cup.

A statement by the Basketball Federation, received by the (INA), said: “The contract for the teams participating in the Beirut Cup was completed with the arrival of the Iraqi national team delegation headed by the President of the Federation, Hussein Al-Ameidi, and it was received at Prime Minister Rafik Hariri Airport by the organizing committee, which welcomed it throughout Lebanon.” .
The statement added, “Immediately upon the delegation’s arrival, it headed to the Bel Azur Hotel, the venue for the delegations participating in the tournament, which begins tomorrow, Saturday, February 17, and continues until the 20th, at the Ghazir Club Stadium, under the supervision of the Lebanese Basketball Federation, and organized by Global.” Active Sports.
The statement continued, “The Iraqi national team will play the opening match on Saturday against its Lebanese counterpart at 16:45, followed by the Syria-Palestine match at 19:30, and the tournament will continue on Sunday with a meeting between Lebanon and Palestine at 16:45, while the Iraqi and Syrian national teams will play at 19:30.” It will conclude on Tuesday, February 20, when Iraq and Palestine will play at 15:30, while Lebanon and Syria will play at 17:45, and all matches will be held in the Ghazir Club hall.
