jpnn.comJAKARTA – PDI Perjuangan Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto said his party was solid in winning candidate number three Ganjar Pranowo and Mahfud MD in the 2024 presidential election.
He said this in order to answer questions from media crew regarding the opinion that PDI Perjuangan cadres were not solid in winning Ganjar-Mahfud.
This question arose after seeing that PDI Perjuangan had the highest vote in the 2024 legislative election, but Ganjar-Mahfud’s score was the lowest in this year’s presidential election.
According to Hasto, the PDI Perjuangan’s solidity in winning Ganjar-Mahfud made several party cadres bearing the white-snouted bull symbol accept pressure from the authorities.
“The party machine is so solid that it is intimidated, if we are intimidated,” said Hasto Kristiyanto in Jakarta, Thursday (21/3).
The Defense University (Unhan) alumnus believes that during the 2024 elections, his party will be faced with the abuse of President Joko Widodo alias Jokowi’s power.
“Faced with abuse of power from President Jokowi, all aspects were mobilized,” explained the man born in Yogyakarta.
For example, said Hasto, Jokowi used legal instruments to distribute social assistance which prevented the Ganjar-Mahfud candidate pair from winning the 2024 presidential election.
PDI Perjuangan was solid in winning candidate number three Ganjar Pranowo and Mahfud Md, it was proven that several cadres had accepted intimidation.
