jpnn.com – JAKARTA – PDI-P Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto gave a signal that his political party chairman Megawati Soekarnoputri could meet the elected presidential candidate Prabowo Subianto.
According to Hasto, the two figures have no problems.
He said this when asked by media crew at the PDIP DPP office, Jakarta, Monday (25/3) about Megawati’s chances of meeting Prabowo.
“So, if we meet, yes, there will be no problem,” said Hasto.
Hasto said that the Chair of the DPR RI and PDI Perjuangan politician Puan Maharani also used to communicate with Prabowo, so that the meeting between Megawati and the former Danjen Kopassus could take place.
“Ms. Puan’s capacity is as Chair of the DPR RI so her duties as Chair of the DPR are in carrying out political communications, and Mr Prabowo now also has his capacity as Minister of Defense,” said Hasto.
However, said the man who was born in Yogyakarta, PDI Perjuangan will first wait for the dispute over the 2024 election results at the Constitutional Court (MK) before addressing the meeting.
