As Pakistan and Sri Lanka have qualified for the finals of the Asia Cup cricket series, today’s final Super 4 match between Pakistan and Sri Lanka is a preview of the finals.
This tournament is also being held in Dubai, the same venue as the final. In this match Sri Lankan captain Dasun Shanaka won the toss and chose to field.

Sri Lanka Team:
Padum Nishanka, Kusal Mendis (wicket keeper), Dhananjaya de Silva, Dhanushka Gunathilaka, Bhanuka Rajapaksa, Dasun Shanaka (captain), Vanindu Hazaranga, Samika Karunaratne, Pramod Madhushan, Mahesh Dikshana, Dilshan Madhushanka.
Pakistan Team:
Mohammad Rizwan (wicket keeper), Babar Azam (captain), Faqar Zaman, Iftikhar Ahmed, Khushdil Shah, Asif Ali, Mohammad Nawaz, Hasan Ali, Harris Raf, Usman Qadir, Mohammad Hasnain.
The Sri Lankan bowlers controlled the Pakistani players who batted first and took wickets without allowing them to score easily. Rizwan scored just 14 runs off 14 balls while debutant Madhushan was bowled out.

Fakhar Zaman was bowled out for 13 runs, while Babar Azam (30), Iftikhar Ahmed (13) and Asif Ali (0) were all bowled by Hazaranga. Nawaz scored 26 runs off 18 balls. Unable to cope with Sri Lanka’s bowling, Pakistan team was bowled out for 121 runs in 19.1 overs.
The Sri Lankan team is chasing a simple target of 122 runs.
