Nazmul Haque Ranjan, assistant observer of Ishwardi Meteorological Observatory, said that the temperature of 41 degrees Celsius was recorded in the upazila at 3 pm. This is the highest temperature of Ishwardi this season.

According to the sources of the Meteorological Observatory, a moderate heatwave has been going on in Ishwardi for the last seven days. 13 April 38.5, 14 April 39, 15 April 39.5, 16 April 39.8, 17 April 40.5 and 18 April 39 degrees Celsius were recorded.
