Tarantino retires: “The next film will be my last film”

After weeks of rumors, Tarantino has officially announced that he has decided to end his illustrious career as a film director, and devote the next few years to directing television. According to him, his next film, which he does not yet know what it will be about, will be the last he will ever make. “I’ve been making films for over 30 years. It’s time to end the show,” he explained.
Tarantino also added saying that since he can remember he has been making movies. ‘I’ve done it all my life. I didn’t start a family until a late age,’ he said. He also explained that he does not want to lose contact with the fans, and above all he wants to leave a taste of more and not align with current trends.
‘I don’t want to become this old man who has nothing to do with anything. I already feel a little disconnected when I come to watch new movies. And that’s exactly what’s happening,” he added. As mentioned, Tarantino repeated that he does not yet know exactly what his last film will be, but according to him, he is in no rush to approach the job. “I’m not in a hurry. I’m doing a few more things, one of them is my book, after that I’ll find out what my last film will be,’ he said.
