Köln – It’s not just his music that makes Harry Styles (28) an icon for a whole generation. The world star celebrates the festival of love!

Countless rainbow flags adorn the ranks of the Kölnarena. The fans at the “Love On Tour” concert at the weekend are just as colourful: the sold-out hall is characterized by feather boas, flared trousers and cowboy hats, with which the singer sparked fashion trends.

When the Brit entered the stage at 9:11 p.m. in red bell-bottoms and a sparkly jacket, he modestly introduced himself: “My name is Harry.” Then he roared into the microphone: “Tonight, be whoever you want to be!”

Styles sings from hit to hit. “Golden”, “Watermelon Sugar”, “As It Was”: There has been no getting around the Harry anthems for years. The entire arena jumps and dances, from the first row to the seats under the roof – the ranks tremble! Young fan girls scream and sob, dance the polonaise through the middle of the hall. Love and volume abound! In addition, the pop star provides emotional highlights with ballads like “Matilda”.

The concert was a glimpse into a more diverse, better world: Because Styles is the opposite of dripping testosterone. With chewing gum looks, feathers, glitter and sequins, he is not only a style icon of Generation Z. The pop star is attentive, loving, wears painted fingernails – and defines a new type of man!

Superstar is looking for unique fan proximity

The type of man who is empathetic and doesn’t see himself as a superstar, but instead listens to his fans and puts them at the center of the evening – whether on a video call with a heavily pregnant woman who couldn’t come because of the upcoming birth, or with a birthday song.

He also greets the grandmother of a fan as well as Papa Ingo, who fought his way to the top with his daughter. Harry proudly presents fan gifts and grabs the rainbow flags from his predominantly young and female guests. One of the greatest entertainers of our time is looking for unique fan contact!

“It was one of the best concerts of my entire life,” proclaims the former One Direction member. “I can hardly describe what it’s like to sing in front of an audience that enjoys it so much. Thank you Cologne! Thank you thank you thank you!”

After two hours of good mood ecstasy, one feeling remains: there is hope for a world in which everyone can be and look as they want…
