AGI – The gold medal of an Italian athlete at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics will be awarded with 180 thousand euros. The medal prizes have been approved by the National Council of Coni. The silver medal will be awarded with 90 thousand euros and the bronze one with 60 thousand.
Italy Team’s Olympic mission has also been defined. To date, 340 Italian athletes have qualified for the Games but included in the delegation, in addition to the president of Coni Giovanni Malagò, also Carlo Mornati (head of mission), Anna Riccardi (deputy vicar) and, in the role of deputy head of mission, Danilo di Tommaso , Alessio Palombi and Giampiero Pastore.
