EPFO News: Employees Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) has solved a major concern of thousands of employees. EPFO has informed that it has started disbursement of interest for the financial year 2021-22 and the employees will not face any loss.
In June this year, the government had fixed the interest rate at 8.1 per cent for the financial year 2021-22 for over 5 crore subscribers. Generally, EPFO starts adding interest to provident fund accounts after the interest rate is fixed by the government. Interest for the last financial year was not shown in the deposit statements, after which more than 5 crore subscribers were worried.

In this regard, EPFO has now given an information through a tweet, according to which it said, “Interest release process is going on and soon it will be reflected in your account. Whenever interest is credited, it will be paid in full and there will be no loss of interest.”
How to Check PF Availability
* Check PF Balance by Missed Call on Toll Free Number: You can check your PF balance by giving a missed call to 011-22901406. You can call this number from your registered mobile number to check PF balance.
* PF Balance Check Through App: You can check your PF balance through two mobile applications.
* EPFO’s m-Sewa app: You can check your EPF balance by downloading the m-Sewa app on your mobile, go to ‘Member’ and click on ‘Balance/Passbook’.
* Umang App: After downloading the Umang app on your mobile you can check your EPF balance by going to EPFO option under Employee Centric Services.
