The Chinese corporation Huawei has announced a folding smartphone Pocket 2. This was reported by GizmoChina with reference to the company’s materials, Day.Az reports with reference to Lenta.ru.
The device has a folding design, which is based on a horizontal hinge. According to representatives of the company, to ensure the strength and durability of the gadget, they used aerospace-grade rocket steel and tempered glass in production. The device is equipped with a 6.94-inch LTPO OLED screen with a resolution of 2690×1136 pixels and a frequency of 120 hertz. There is an additional 1.15-inch OLED display on the rear panel.
Huawei Pocket 2 is powered by the Kirin 9000S processor, has 12 gigabytes of RAM and from 256 gigabytes to 1 terabyte of internal memory. At the back there is a camera with 50, 12, 8 and 2 megapixel lenses. The released phone supports optical stabilization and 3x optical zoom. The device also received support for satellite communications.
Pocket 2 came with a 4520 milliamp-hour battery with 66-watt fast wired charging. The smartphone supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC. The device runs on HarmonyOS 4.0. The folding smartphone is priced at a minimum of 7,499 yuan.
