In an interview with “Entertainment Tonight,” the 44-year-old actor — who recently finalized his divorce from ex-wife Lisa Bonet — talked about wandering the country and how it inspired him for his new docuseries

He doesn’t have a home, Jason Momoa. And for now he’s fine with it, also because he’s creating la docuserie “On the Roam” (preview next January 18th), in which living on the street is – precisely – an essential condition, because it allows him to meet the most disparate people, mostly artisans who make bicycles, motorbikes and equipment which are real works of art and which will then be auctioned by the actor himself for charity. «Right now I don’t even have a house – the “Aquaman” star said in un’intervista a “Entertainment Tonight” -. I live on the road and go wherever the road takes me. I’m always in these strange places and people are shocked when they see me get out of the car. They look at me and say “what the hell are you doing in our city?”. It happens all the time.”

Meeting ordinary people, spending time with them, seeing what they do in everyday life makes him feel at peace with himself, so if for now this means not having a fixed residential address, no big deal. «I love the idea of being with ordinary people – Momoa said again – and I like my job, making films and then showing them to others. And doing it for so long, I became curious.” Hence the idea of taking a television crew with him on his wanderings “on the road” to immortalize every moment and find new inspiration. “I have a real passion for artisans and their creations – concluded the 44-year-old actor – and honoring their work is what I really want to do.”

Momoa recently finalized his divorce from his ex-wife Lisa Bonet: the latter presented documents to the Los Angeles County court, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for ending the marriage and, according to the agreements, the two they would have agreed on shared custody of the two children (Lola Iolani and Nakoa-Wolf, aged 16 and 15) and on expenses, both waiving maintenance.
