Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan participated in the event of the EU delegation organized jointly with the RA government, during which the two sides presented to the development partners of Armenia the process of implementation of the road map of the agreement invited to the event and EU support tools.
Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan and the head of the EU delegation, Ambassador Andrea Victorin, made a speech of welcome and both emphasized the importance of organizing events in this format. The Deputy Prime Minister, thanking the EU side for its support, presented the work of the inter-departmental commission chaired by him and the implementation process of the GAC. The EU ambassador emphasized that the implementation of the GCC will support Armenia’s modernization and reform agenda.
During the meeting, the head of Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan’s office, Sedrak Barseghyan, briefly presented the Comprehensive and Extended Partnership Agreement and its main goals to the participants, referred to the reforms implemented in separate directions and the importance of supporting other partners in the process.
Gonzalo Serrano de la Rosa, head of the cooperation department of the EU delegation, spoke about EU support tools and presented their features during his speech.
After the speeches, the speakers answered the questions of the audience.
Summarizing the event, the deputy prime minister once again highlighted the importance of meetings in this format and considered this a good platform that provided an opportunity to present the agenda of reforms implemented in various fields under the GAC.
