Dubai : Conditions tighten for New Year celebrations in Dubai in the wake of the Kovid expansion.

A fine of 3,000 dirhams will be imposed on those who attend public ceremonies without wearing a mask.

People should take all safety precautions. It was ordered by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council. Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed, chairman of the Supreme Committee on Disaster Management, said that the spread of the virus could be stopped only through strict security measures.
