In the north of Kazakhstan, in the village of Shortandy in the Akmola region, an explosion occurred in a barrack-type residential building. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the republic. The accident killed three and injured 10 people.
The message about the explosion in the apartment appeared in the duty services at 21:38 (18:38 Moscow time) on November 16. After the explosion, a fire started, it covered the roof of a house on an area of 350 square meters. m.
“The fire … was extinguished at 23:55 hours (20:55 Moscow time). The bodies of three people were found at the scene. 10 people were hospitalized with various injuries in the regional central hospital, ”the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations said (quoted by RIA Novosti).
