Income Tax Notice to Congress: Penalty of Rs 1,800 Crore Demanded, Nationwide Protest Tomorrow

It has been reported that the Income Tax Department has sent a notice to the Congress party for not properly filing income tax returns for the last 4 years from 2017-18 financial year to 2020-21 financial year and has to pay a penalty of Rs 1,800 crore with interest.

While the Congress had accused the government of trying to freeze their funds as the elections are approaching, now the Income Tax Department has sent a notice to the Congress party demanding a penalty of Rs.

In this situation, the central BJP is concerned about the issue of income tax. KC Venugopal, National General Secretary of the party, has announced that the Congress party will hold a nationwide demonstration tomorrow to condemn the government. He requested all parties to participate in the protest demonstration held at all state and district headquarters.
