Karur: In Karur district, the spread of the disease has been confirmed to 194 people yesterday.
The second wave of corona infections last May claimed hundreds of lives. Since then, vaccination has intensified in Tamil Nadu. In this case, the impact of the third wave is increasing. Of these, various shows have been banned only in Tamil Nadu. The outbreak in Karur came from within. But, after the Pongal holiday, the spread of the infection is on the rise. In the district yesterday, 194 people were confirmed infected. They are being treated at Karur Government Medical College Hospital and private hospitals. Many are isolated in their homes. Having recovered from the infection, 78 people have been discharged. So far a total of 26 thousand, 140 people have been affected in the district, 24 thousand, 931 people have recovered and returned home. In addition, 368 people have died from the infection. Currently, 841 people are infected and receiving treatment.
