On the fourth day, the ball bounced off Pujara’s glove and landed in the hands of the wicket keeper. Pujara had to leave the field after Williamson took the review at Blundell’s insistence. Criticism of Pujara and Rahane is likely to intensify as they find it difficult to find runs in both the innings.
Pujara returned with 26 runs in the first innings. Rahane scored 35 in the first innings. One of them is likely to miss out on a place in the team for the second Test.
