Pollachi: In the Pollachi railway residential area, construction of new houses is going on vigorously. The railway residence was built in 1930, behind the cattle market, to accommodate and work for the Pollachi railway employees. In this area, 20 years ago, railway employees lived in 88 flats. In this situation, the old houses were demolished last year and the construction of new houses is underway.
