Iran has banned the use of pagers and walkie-talkies during flights

(Web Desk) Iran banned the use of in-flight pagers and walkie-talkies to protect the lives of its passengers following Israel’s attacks in Lebanon.

According to the foreign news agency, the local media has reported that the ban has been decided after the attacks of peaches and walkie-talkies in Lebanon.

It should be remembered that Iran-backed Lebanese organization Hezbollah and Iran itself blamed Israel for these attacks.

According to Iran’s news agency Atna, the spokesperson of Iran’s Civil Aviation has said that no communication devices except mobile phones will be allowed to be carried in the planes during commercial flights, while these devices will not be allowed in the cabin or cargo planes. Use will be restricted.

It should be noted that this decision by Iran has come three weeks after attacks targeting members of the Hezbollah group, an organization allied to Iran, in Lebanon.

In Lebanon on September 17, around 2,500 people, including the Iranian ambassador, Mojtaba Amani, were injured in the explosion of bechers across the country, while the next day, the explosion of walkie-talkies took place across Lebanon.

Before Iran, Emirates Airlines also banned pagers and walkie-talkies in its planes.

It should be noted that several airlines have suspended flights to Iran in recent weeks following dozens of missile attacks on Israel by Tehran on October 1.
