This Sunday, the Iranian Civil Aviation Organizationannounced the suspension of flights in all the country’s airports until Monday morning, due to the “operational restrictions” amid tensions over a possible Israeli retaliation to last Tuesday’s attacks against the Jewish state.
The spokesman for the Iranian Civil Aviation Organization, Jafar Yazerluinformed the state agency IRNA that “due to operational restrictions, flights from the country’s airports will be canceled from 9:00 p.m. tonight (5:30 p.m. GMT) until 6:00 a.m. on Monday (2:30 p.m. GMT).”
The flight cancellation It comes amid speculation of a possible Israeli retaliation to the Iranian attacks with around 200 missiles against the State on October 1.
The attack of the Revolutionary Guard It was in turn retaliation for the assassinations of the leader of the Lebanese Hezbollah militia, Hasan Nasrallah, and an Iranian general in Beirut, as well as the political leader of Hamas, Ismail Haniyeh, in July in Tehran.
After the bombing, Iran suspended all its flights until Thursday morning, when authorities considered that “safe flight conditions have been guaranteed.”
Unfortunately, Israel has already assured that it will respond to the attack, so numerous Iranian political and military activities have in turn expressed that it will respond with even more force.
It should be noted that the oil sector is one of the possible targets, due to the enormous damage it would cause in the Persian country, according to various Israeli media.
