Iranian “Kermanshah” records the “largest share” of exports to Iraq at more than two billion dollars in 9 months

/ The Director General of Customs of the Iranian Kermanshah Province, Ali Asghar Abbaszadeh, announced today, Saturday, that the Iranian Province Customs had the largest share of exports to Iraq, which exceeded five billion dollars during only 9 months of the (Iranian year).

The Iranian Mehr Agency quoted the Director General of Kermanshah Customs, Abbas Zadeh, and translated by Agency, saying, “During 9 months of the current year (the Iranian year starts from March 21), a value of five billion, 720 million, 253 thousand and 666 dollars worth of goods were exported.” Pointing out that “the total weight of exports amounted to 14 million 713 thousand and 472 tons from the Iranian land border to Iraq, including exports amounting to 2 billion 231 million 112 thousand and 906 dollars, with a weight of 5 million 495 thousand 101 tons through Kermanshah customs, which is the largest quantity in terms of weight.” Or the value, between the customs of the entire country.”

The Director General of Kermanshah Customs added, “Among the customs of Kermanshah Province, Parviz Khan Customs has the largest share with exports amounting to 742 million 373 thousand and 406 dollars, and Khosravi Customs comes in next place with exports amounting to 609 million 188 thousand 816 dollars,” pointing out that “the export share Sumar customs to Iraq amounted to 578 million 259 thousand and 100 dollars, while the export share of Sheikh Silah and Shushmi customs to Iraq amounted to 271 million 70 thousand and 346 dollars and 30 million 221 thousand and 238 dollars, respectively.

Abbaszadeh stated, “The main export commodities through the province’s customs control zone are rebar, iron, tiles, ceramics, fruits and vegetables, building stones, dairy products, all types of plastic products, single-use containers, and others.”
