Israel votes today to respond to the Iranian attack, and the United Nations announces the outcome of the Lebanon war

by times news cr

An Israeli official told the network “CNN”, “The Council of Ministers will meet this evening to vote on the response to the Iranian ballistic missile attack on Israel last week.”

It is noteworthy that “last week, the Israeli army announced that Iran had launched missiles that reached Jerusalem, and the official Israeli radio said that more than 250 missiles hit Israel within half an hour.”

Yesterday, Wednesday, Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant confirmed that Iran’s recent missile attack on Israel was “more aggressive and powerful, but inaccurate,” stressing that the Israeli response will be “deadly, accurate, and surprising.”

In this context, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi pointed out that “Iran and Saudi Arabia can help achieve security and stability in the region.”

Araqchi wrote in a post on the “X” platform: “Iran and Saudi Arabia can together help achieve security and stability in the region, and this matter requires an enhanced level of political will.”

The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs announced that “a quarter of Lebanese territory has received Israeli orders to evacuate, which confirms the expansion of Israel’s war against Hezbollah and the aggravation of the humanitarian crisis in Lebanon.”

“The humanitarian crisis in Lebanon is deteriorating at an alarming rate,” the office said, noting that “Israeli air strikes have not only intensified, but also expanded into previously unaffected areas and increasingly targeted vital civilian infrastructure.”

He stated that “evacuation orders issued to more than 100 villages and urban neighborhoods in southern Lebanon are still forcing people to flee, and a quarter of Lebanese territory is now subject to Israeli military displacement orders.”

He added: “The health sector in Lebanon is under tremendous pressure from the ongoing attacks on health care facilities and workers. The education sector in Lebanon is also facing enormous challenges, as the majority of public schools are currently being repurposed as collective shelters.”

The office announced: 2,083 people were killed and 9,869 were injured, 608,509 people were internally displaced, 180,700 people were searching for shelter, and 350,000 children were displaced due to the ongoing conflict.
