Tel Aviv: For Israel, its biggest enemy is Iran. Israel has been preparing for a possible attack on Iran for the last two decades. Israel has invested billions in defense. He has created many advanced ammunition. Israel may have many more deadly weapons. Because we came to know about some of its weapons only when it was sold to another Air Force. Recent operations have demonstrated Israel’s ability to attack from distance. Israel launched another attack on Yemen last month. The attack was carried out by sending F-15 jets from a base 1800 km away. This attack shows Israel’s ability to change things. The fighter jets which were built for air combat were converted by Israel for strike missions. Israel equipped these jets with advanced weapons. However, due to the almost equal distance, attacking Iran is quite difficult. Iran’s nuclear and ballistic missile facilities are deep underground. In such a situation, it is difficult for Israel to target them. Apart from this, Iran has developed its own air defense system which reportedly works like Russia’s S-300.
spent billions of dollars
Israel has invested billions of dollars in the last two decades to create dangerous weapons. He has even refused to sell some to America. Israel has focused on increasing the range of its fighter aircraft. This involves the creation of special types of fuel tanks that extend the range of flight without altering the aerodynamics of the aircraft. Many reports claim that detachable fuel tanks have been made from the F-35 jet. With its stealth capability it can reach Iran.
Israel made deadly missiles
Israel developed long-range attack missiles launched from fighter jets in the 2000s. There is no exact information about their range, but they can hit targets hundreds of kilometers away. That means Israel can attack without going close to Iranian defense. If we talk about two examples of these, they are Rampage Missile and Rocks Missile.
- Rampage Missile: Israel Aerospace Industries and Elbit Systems have jointly developed it. This missile has multiple navigation systems and has been designed for aerial deployment. This missile, with a range of hundreds of kilometers, is effective against batteries and command centers. It is 4.7 meters long and 30.6 cm in diameter. Its weight is 570 kg which can carry 150 kg explosives.
- Rocks Missile: Rafael presented it to the world in 2019. This supersonic weapon can be navigated from satellite. This is important in attacking strong ground structures. It can be launched from F-16 and F-35 fighter jets. Its estimated range is 300 km.
