The 70-year-old actor was issued two federal citations for walking in an off-limits area at Mammoth Terraces during a visit on 1 November. As a result, Brosnan is scheduled to appear in court on 23 January to address the charges.
Yellowstone officials declined to comment on the incident, and the US attorney’s office for Wyoming confirmed that Brosnan was in the park for personal reasons unrelated to film work.
