By partnering with NSDC, the consulate hopes to help deter citizens from dishonest recruitment and provide them with the skills they need to secure employment abroad. Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur launched the international project Tejas on 27th March 2022.
The scheme aims to qualify, issue certificates and provide jobs to Indians abroad. Tejas aims to create workforce-enabled pathways for Indians to prepare for the UAE’s skill and market needs. The Tejas training program will be held in India and Dubai.
