India beat Uganda in Junior Cricket World Cup
In the Under-19 Cricket World Cup, India and Uganda met in the ‘B’ category. Uganda won the toss and elected to field Batting first, Raghuvansi scored 144 and Raj Pawa 162. At the end of 50 overs, the Indian team scored 405 runs for the loss of 5 wickets.
Following this, the Ugandan batsmen could not cope with the Indian bowling. Pascal Murunky top-scored for the team with 34 runs. Uganda lost all their wickets for 79 runs in the 20th over. India won by 326 runs. Indian batsman Raj Bawa won the man of the match award for his 162 runs.
