Thrissur: Kerala Kalamandalam invited famous dancer RLV Ramakrishnan to perform Mohiniyattam. The presentation will be held at Koothambalam in Kalamandal on Saturday at 5 pm. RLV Ramakrishnan responded that this is the first time that he is getting an opportunity to perform dance in Kalamandal. Ramakrishnan was a research student at Kalamandalam.

Kalamandalam directly invited RLV Ramakrishnan to perform the dance after the racial abuse by Kalamandalam Satyabhama, a dancer. Earlier, RLV Ramakrishnan had rejected Suresh Gopi’s invitation to perform a dance performance at the Kudumbakshetra.

Sathyabhama’s remark against RLV Ramakrishnan was in an interview given to a YouTube channel. As the incident became controversial, many people came forward in support of RLV Ramakrishnan. Then the Human Rights Commission filed a case against Satyabhama and the Kalamandal itself denied Satyabhama’s words.
