Actor Karthi has spoken about the second part of Kaithi.
Directed by Muthiah, Karthi and Aditi Shankar starrer ‘Viruman’. Produced by 2D Entertainment, the film stars Suri, Prakashraj, Rajkiran, Saranya Ponvannan and others. The film will be released in theaters from tomorrow. Yuvanshankar Raja has composed the music for the film.
In this case, actor Karthi, who participated in the promotion events, confirmed the second part of the film. He also revealed that the shooting of Kaadi may start in 2023. In 2019, the film Khaidi, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, was well received. The recently released Vikram also had a touch of Karthi’s character Dilli in Kaithi.
Karthi has confirmed that the second part of Prisoner has been talked about. However, Karthi also informed that “Kaithi shooting will start as soon as director Lokesh completes the shooting of Vijay’s Thalapathy 67. The shooting may start after 2023”.
Similarly, when asked if there is a chance to act in a film with his brother, actor Suriya, Karthi said, “I don’t know if Rolex will meet Delhi. That will have to be told by Lokesh. I don’t have an answer to that right now. However, we are both interested in acting in a film together. We are hearing stories about it. Let’s wait until the right story comes,” he said.
