After fifties by Khalid Hasan and Irfan Shukkur, Shinepukur Cricket Club left the field with a big win against Pertex Sporting Club on Hasan Mahmood’s bowling ball.
Pertex won the toss and sent Shinepukur into bat at BKSP on Monday (March 25). Shinepukur made a challenging score with the bat of Khalid-Irfan. Partex was all out for just 129 runs in the chase. This is Shinepukur’s third win and Pertex’s fourth loss in the fifth round.
Zahiduzzaman Khan fought alone for Pertex. The maximum run from his bat is 53. Azmir Ahmed scored 19 runs. Captain Muktar Ali scored 16 runs and Ahrar Amin scored 14 runs. No other batter has faced double figures.
Hasan alone took 4 wickets for Shinepukur. He took these wickets with only 21 runs in 8 overs. Apart from this, Jawad Rowen took 3 wickets.
Before that, Khalid kept on at one end even though he lost 3 wickets for just 29 runs. His highest score is 85 runs from his bat. He got the man of the match award. This batsman finished the innings with 8 fours and 2 sixes off 114 balls.
Khalid took the lead in the beginning and Irfan in the end. He left the field unbeaten on 66 runs. Apart from this, Akbar Ali scored 23 and Rabiul Haque scored 16 runs. Muktar, Adajjuman and Ajmir took 2 wickets each for Pertex.
